What a great find!
I found Kinkawooka Mussels to be a real step above the rest when it comes to freshness and flavour. These mussels not only have a longer shelf life but they're at least 10-20% per bigger than others currently available. They do need to be used fairly quicky. It's best to open them just as you're about to use them. Another bonus is that they are cleaned ready to go and with their "quality assurance programme" there's no wastage from dead or off mussels.
