South Perth Mends Street Carnivale

The inaugural Mends Street Carnivale will be the grand finale of the 2007 Fiesta program.

Mends Street will be transformed into a pedestrian mall complete with street performers, fashion parades, street dining, children's activities, fabulous food and wine from local restaurants, and much, much more.

The Vineleaves' Cooking Demonstration stage will host a plethora of Chefs from the Mends Street restaurants performing a range of culinary feats and 'Unwrapped: The Marketplace', running the length of Mends Street, will feature new and emerging WA designers selling original clothing, jewellery, artwork and other creations.

The Oyster Bar's Moonlight Express will be running four river tours, with Ferngrove Wines conducting mini wine appreciation courses on board.
Tours will run from 2.30pm to 5.30pm for $15 per person.

A main stage is also set to host premium entertainment to get the street dancing - this will be a truly vibrant Carnivale.
