French Onion Dip

Ingredients
1kg onions
20ml vegetable oil
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
200g low fat plain yoghurt
220g Extra light Philadelphia crème cheese
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar (to help brown the onions)
Vegetable sticks for serving
Method:
- Slice onions.
- Heat up a pot and add the oil
- Once the oil is hot add the onions and fry off until they start to turn brown. This is where you may need to add the balsamic vinegar to help with the browning.
- Season with salt and pepper and take off the heat.
- Take the cream cheese out of the fridge and let it get to room temperature.
- Once soft put it in a blender with the onions and yoghurt and blend.
- Serve a tablespoon of dip in the bottom of a clear plastic cup with a variety of vegetable sticks.
